warranty packages must be purchased at the point of sale with the long block. ORDER PROCESS We will need
the ship to address, bill to address, email address, and all phone numbers
necessary (work, cell, ship to phone number, etc.). Someone must be at the ship
to address to sign and receive the engine and to return the core. All engines
are blueprinted. Blueprinting is defined as removing or narrowing the
tolerances found in mass production engines. The rod, main, and cam
clearances are measured with a dial bore gauges and micrometers. Bearings
clearances are set depending on the application (truck, car, marine,
performance, etc.). Piston and valve guide clearances are set with dial bore
gauges. Cam timing events are measured and adjusted. Cylinders are
bored in CNC Machining centers (unless they are wet sleeve blocks) and honed in
Sunnen CNC cylinder hones with diamond abrasives (OEM technology). Main bearing
saddles are align honed or align bored. Block decks
are resurfaced with CBN inserts in CNC Machining centers. This is the latest
technology in surfacing cast iron. We achieve single digit RA figures for MLS
head gaskets which is critical. To ensure proper gasket sealing we check all
surfaces with a profilometer, a device used to check surface finish to ensure
gasket life and efficiency. Cylinder heads
are remanufactured to exceed OEM specifications in a Rottler or Serdi valve
seat machines. Valve guides are replaced and honed in Sunnen guide hones. Head
gasket surfaces are refinished with CBN or PCD inserts, the latest technology
in the resurfacing of cast iron and aluminum to ensure a proper gasket seal.
Surfaces are then checked with the same profilometer used on block gasket
surfaces. All assembled
long blocks are tested for compression, vacuum tested cooling systems, oil
pressure consistency is ensured, and rotation is tested for resistance before
shipping. INSTALLATION

will be included with the long block shipment. NEW COMPONENT
DETAILS WE NEED TO KNOW IF YOU HAVE A MECHANICAL OR ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP, PLEASE NOTE THIS WHEN ORDERING.
THE ELECTRIC PUMP IS MOUNTED ON THE FRAME RAIL UNDER THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANICAL IS LOCATED IN THE V OF THE ENGINE AND IS DRIVEN OFF OF THE CAMSHAFT. Our remanufactured 7.3L Powerstroke long
blocks are assembled using Mahle, federal mogul, Hastings, Melling, Silvolite,
SBI, and Elgin parts. New components
include; piston kits, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, oil pump, and
several valve train parts. Unit comes
with a new long block installation gasket set. Any gasket not
included with the long block must be purchased separately. CORE POLICY No core charge will be billed
at the time of purchase, but by buying you agree to have the engine core ready
for pickup and return to us within 30 days of receiving the engine. Failure to
do so will void your warranty (until core charge is paid in full) and you will
be billed and liable for the engine core charge. The core must have no visible
cracks or holes with no broken camshaft, crankshaft, connecting rods, or broken
valves and must rotate 360 degrees.
